Kučan and Meri: Small Countries Must Also Decide about Europe's Future

Ljubljana, 16 May - Small countries, like Slovenia and Estonia, must also take part in the formation of a new Europe and they can even play an important role in it, agreed presidents of Slovenia and Estonia Milan Kučan and Lennart Meri, meeting in Ljubljana Friday. The countries are supporting each other in their efforts to join the European Union and NATO, said President Kučan at a press conference following the talks.
