Estonian President Meets Prime Minister Drnovšek
Ljubljana, 16 May - Estonian President Lennart Meri, on a visit to Slovenia, was received by head of the government Janez Drnovšek on Friday. President Meri stated the two countries maintained excellent relations, adding Estonia would like to strengthen and extend its cooperation with Slovenia since the two countries shared quite similar objectives, similar economic results and efforts to cherish their own cultural identities. He maintained Slovenia stood before an important decision about its path towards Europe, expressing hope that the prevailing decision should be the decision to continue political and economic development and to solve problems rationally, the prime minister's office reports in it press release.
