Media reform would hurt public interest, says journalists' union

Ljubljana, 14 July - The Slovenian Union of Journalists opposes the recently unveiled media reform since it believes the amendments are "targeted against the plurality and democratic nature of the media landscape and market". The union, whose call was backed by several union confederations, was also critical of the authorities getting more influence on public media.
