Delo: Different Concept of Sovereignty in the EU
Ljubljana, 19 May - What advocators of 68 article of the Constitution fear most is that Slovenia might lose its sovereignty; they claim Slovenia should preserve it as the EU guidelines for amend the Constitution are to limit the country's sovereignty, they say. Variants of this standpoint are undoubtedly favoured by renowned defenders of law and of parliamentary democracy. They are a source of extremely simplified slogans coming form the mouth of crowds which do no know yet that the character of sovereignty in the EU has changed for all its members upon joining it voluntarily, the Monday issue of Delo writes.
