Friday's new Covid-19 cases at four-month high
Ljubljana, 22 August - As many as 43 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Slovenia on Friday, when 1,203 tests were carried out, the latest government data, released on Saturday, shows. This is the same as the four-month record recorded on Wednesday. One person meanwhile died yesterday, which put the national Covid-19 death toll at 131.
