The timing of the visit by an 11-member U.S. Congress delegation in Slovenia is perfect, because the guests will be able to communicate their views and observations about our country to the Congress and U.S. administration, Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek told the press after meeting the delegation on Monday. Doug Bereuter, head of the delegation, said the visiting congressmen would present their views in favour of Slovenia and its accession to NATO in the first round when the issue is discussed in the Congress.
