Aleksandra Pivec resigns as Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) leader

Ljubljana, 9 September - Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) president Aleksandra Pivec resigned on Thursday, despite previously vowing to fight efforts by the party's council to unseat her. The executive committee accepted her resignation just before the council was scheduled to hold a vote.
