Railway Strike: Suspensions As Yet not Cancelled

Ljubljana, 29 May - STRIKE/RAILWAYS/NEGOTIATIONS
With the railway strike continuing for the ninth day, the negotiations between the government commission and the Central Strike Committee resumed Thursday afternoon focussing on the recommendations issued by the Economic Social Council that conditions for equal negotiations towards adopting a tariff rider to the railway traffic collective agreement should first be established. The negotiations are expected to end sometime before midnight. It is still unknown whether the strike that started on 20 May will end on Friday, 30 May, as originally planned.
