The efforts and decisions concerning Slovene joining the Euro-Atlantic integrations were in the limelight also in May. Slovene parliament's emergency session on foreign policy was certainly the central event of the month. It was postponed by a week and its agenda did not include the ratification of the Europe Agreement, signed between Slovenia and the European Union (the parliament is to vote on the ratification bill at its regular session), but finally both, the government and the opposition parties, supported the measures for faster joining the above-mentioned integrations.
