Major regulators object to government merger plans
Ljubljana, 5 October - Major Slovenian regulators have voiced opposition to plans to merge eight currently independent agencies into two super-agencies as part of government efforts to streamline the public administration. Some said the plan violated international rules and Slovenia's commitments under EU law.
