The round table "Culture at the Turn of the Millennium" in the Cankarjev Dom cultural centre featured ten distinguished artists, cultural workers and politicians who discussed the role and importance of culture in the Europe that is integrating. Their views were mostly complementary, particularly when it came to efforts to get as broad audience as possible. Culture, either popular or elitist, should aim at satisfying as wide public as possible.
