Drnovšek: To Threaten with Interpellation in Key Moments of No Benefit to the State
Ljubljana, 2 July - DRNOVŠEK/STATEMENT
Prime Minister and head of the Liberal Democracy of Slovenia (LDS) Janez Drnovšek responded Wednesday to announcement of interpellation made earlier in the day by head of the Social Democratic Party of Slovenia (SDS) Janez Janša, who said he would enter a motion against the government unless it presented the 1997 budget bill to the parliament by 20 July. Drnovšek announced negotiations to sign the accord on parties' cooperation in Slovenia's integration into the European Union would continue Thursday morning.
