Parliament Amends the Constitution
Ljubljana, 14 July - SLOVENIA/CONSTITUTION/AMENDMENT
The Slovenian Parliament voted 81 to 1 Monday (present were 85 lawmakers in the 90-member parliament) to enact the constitutional bill on the amendment of article 68 of the Slovene constitution. The article was amended in order to allow foreigners to possess immovables, thus allowing Slovenia to ratify the Europe Agreement with the European Union.
