KDD: No Onrush of Foreign Investors

The Central Clearing Depot Company (KDD) has achieved all the goals it set itself for 1996, with operations also going on as planned in the first half of this year, KDD director Boris T. Šnuderl told Thursday. KDD shareholders discussed the 1996 business report at the general assembly last week, deciding to use the 1996 profit of SIT 13.8 million to cover the losses incurred in 1995. Share registers show no major increase of purchases of Slovenian shares by foreign investors, said Šnuderl adding "what we see is normal operations of foreign investors who have already had Slovenian stock in their portfolios before".
