Two Border Crossings to Open for Traffic between Slovenia and Hungary
Ljubljana, 31 July - SLOVENIA/HUNGARY/BORDER/CROSSINGS
The governments of Slovenia and Hungary have agreed to open border crossings Kobilje and Prosenjakovci for interstate traffic on 20 August 1997. The opening of the two border crossings will relieve other border crossings on this part of the border, Slovenian officials said at a news conference after Thursday's government session. The opening is expected to be of most advantage to the minorities on both sides of the border, because it will provide a better connection to their mother countries.
