Ljubljana, 31 July - THALER/RESIGNATION
Zoran Thaler, who informed Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek on his resignation from the post of foreign minister on 31 July, took over the foreign ministry for the second time on 27 February 1997 when the National Assembly supported in a secret ballot with 52 votes "for" and 37 votes "against" the proposal of Janez Drnovšek, premier designate and head of the Liberal Democracy of Slovenia (LDS), electing the new Slovenian government.
