Slovenia start September round of World Cup qualifying
Ljubljana, 1 September - The Slovenian men's football team will start the September round of qualifying for the 2022 FIFA World Cup with a home match against Slovakia on Wednesday, to be followed by another fixture in Ljubljana's Stožice Stadium against Malta on Saturday. Slovenia will then travel to Split as they are hosted by Croatia on 7 September.
