Postojna, 16 August - Slovenia's junior basketball team was defeated by FR Yugoslavia 61:80 (31:43) in the fifth round of qualifications to advance to group C of the European Championship. This is Slovenia's only defeated after it had already secured itself advance to EC in Varna, Bulgaria. Group C will thus include Slovenia, Spain and Latvia.
