Delo: A Third Lives Worse

Ljubljana, 18 August - Over a half of Slovenes (53.9 percent) have managed to maintain their level of living standards despite transition and increasing social differences. Over a third (33.7 percent) lives worse than a year ago, while about a tenth even managed to improve their standard of living, according to a public opinion poll conducted by Delo Stik agency that involved 674 of 1200 randomly chosen telephone subscribers from all over the country. The poll was released by the newspaper Delo on Monday.
