Slovenia's Top Officials on Further Activities after Cyprus Court's Ruling
Ljubljana, 20 August - Representatives of the Bank of Slovenia and the ministries of finance, foreign affairs, economic relations and development as well as economic activities met on Wednesday headed by Deputy Prime Minister Marjan Podobnik to discuss the Cyprus Court's ruling, the prime minister's office reported. The court decided it was not competent to make a judgement on Slovenia's claim for freezing National Bank of Yugoslavia funds deposited with the Belgrade Bank subsidiary in Cyprus.
