CEFTA Agriculture Ministers Start Plenary Meeting
Maribor, 22 August - CEFTA/AGRICULTURE/MINISTERS
A two-day meeting of agriculture ministers of the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) member states started Friday in Maribor, eastern Slovenia. At the invitation of Slovenia's Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Ciril Smrkolj, the meeting is be attended by agriculture ministers from the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. The meeting will focus on the development of agriculture and trade in CEFTA member states. Friday's plenary session is to wind up in the afternoon. On Saturday, the ministers will attend the opening of the 35th International Agriculture Fair in the nearby town of Gornja Radgona.
