Restructuring seen as biggest challenge for Zasavje

Zagorje ob Savi/Hrastnik, 28 September - Government officials were briefed on Tuesday on challenges that Zasavje faces as a region that used to be a mining and energy heavyweight but which is now lagging behind despite a strong high-tech cluster. The region will get a portion of the EU's just transition funding, and local officials were promised additional development funds to catch up.
