Current Pension System Unbearable in the Long Run

A reform of pension insurance is certainly one of the most vital tasks to be carried through by the Slovene government and a huge project by the ministry of labour, family and social affairs, which took on the task last year. Also in 1996, the government submitted to the National Assembly the Guidelines on the Reform of the Pension System and Disability Insurance, thus establishing some basic principles of and working out a strategy for the reform.
