Frlec: Nation and Political Parties' Interests Come After Interests of People

Slovenia'a Foreign Minister Boris Frlec described the situation in the Slovene politics and expressed his vision of the development of the Slovene foreign policy in an interview for the Saturday issue of Delo. Frlec pointed out that a national consensus is vital for a successful foreign policy. Speaking about the relations with Croatia, he said they were not bad, while the relations with the neighbouring Austria are very good. The main objective of Slovene foreign policy is full EU membership, while contacts should be established also with Southeastern Europe, Frlec said.
