Slovenia, Macedonia on Vine Quotas on October 15
Ljubljana, 6 October - Slovenia and Macedonia will hopefully agree on their vine quotas at a meeting scheduled for 15 October, Franc But, state secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture told a news conference on Monday. He told the countries would sign in November an agreement on cooperation between their respective veterinary services and plant protection offices.*** The countries discussed the issue of 1998 quotas for agricultural products during a recent working visit in Skopje by a delegation of Slovenia's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food and the Ministry of Economic Relations and Development. At the time, the countries failed to reach an agreement on quotas.
