Norrback: Slovenia Stands a Good Chance for Accession to the EU

Ljubljana, 7 October - Finland's Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade Johan Ole Norrback met Slovenia's Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek, Foreign Minister Boris Frlec and Minister of Economic Relations and Development Marjan Senjur on Tuesday, the second and last day of his visit in Slovenia. Minister Norrback congratulated Premier Drnovšek for Slovenia's political and economic achievements, pointing out the importance of the European Commission's decision to invite Slovenia as one of the strongest candidates to full membership negotiations in the first group of expansion, the premier's office reported.
