Ljubljana, 8 October - The Maastricht and the Amsterdam treaties seem riddles with holes which the countries appear unable to fill with political will should they limit their sovereignty. They say the situation isn't ready yet. However, the political will already exists at the level of highly important day-to-day steps. The abolition of internal borders involves steps that will be hard to call off and whose synergic effects seem to establish the European - political - Union far more effectively than the recent Amsterdam conference may have suggested, daily Delo writes on Wednesday.
