The proponents themselves admit the national strategy of Slovenia's accession to the European Union is incomplete and wanting harmonization. It remains unclear when Slovenia will achieve the goal so eagerly sought for and when it would metamorphose from a remnant of the Balkan-styled Yugoslavia to a modern West European country. Still, the strategy remains the third most important step towards full membership this year after the ratification of the Europe agreement and the invitation from Brussels to the first group of candidates for full membership, daily Večer writes on Wednesday.
