Street Book Fairs in Ljubljana

Ljubljana, 8 October - Seeking to animate streets, squares, river banks and bridges in the old town and bring some of the spirit of Montmartre and the banks of Sienna to Slovenia's capital, the municipality of Ljubljana and the Slovene Writers Association have decided to organize regular book fairs on streets along the Ljubjanica river. Taking place every Saturday, the fairs are to host publishing houses, secondhand book stores and later also philatelists, numismatists and street painters. The first such street fair will take place on Saturday, 11 October.
