Government Passes Profit Sharing Bill
Ljubljana, 9 October - GOVRERNMENT/WORKERS/PROFIT
The government passed a profit sharing bill at its regular session on Thursday, passing it to Parliament for fast-track adoption. The bill takes after solutions in France and the United Kingdom and essentially follows the Council of Europe recommendations concerning profit sharing schemes. The Government will propose fast-track endorsement of the bill to allow its implementation in the beginning of the next business year starting on 1 January 1998, Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs, Anton Rop told a news conference following the session.
