IMF Mission to Slovenia Presents its Findings

The IMF mission that arrived on a regular visit to Slovenia on 29 September held a news conference on Friday, the last day of its visit, presenting the most vital Slovenia's macro-economic indicators. Having met with representatives of the Bank of Slovenia, Slovene ministries and trade unions, the mission will prepare a report containing decisions and recommendations in end-November, Head of the IMF mission Hans Flickenschield told the news conference. Executive Director of the Belgian constituency in the IMF Willy Kiekens, who joined the mission yesterday, said the IMF was very satisfied with the results Slovenia has achieved. He urged Slovenia to make up for the delay in the field of structural reforms due to this year's primary attention given to the integration into NATO and the EU.
