Weekly Review of Slovene Economy from October 6 to 11

Ljubljana, 11 October - The IMF mission presented Slovenia's key macro-economic indicators on completion of its visit to Slovenia (Sep 29 - Oct 10). Executive director of the Belgian constituency in the IMF, Willy Kiekens, said the IMF was very satisfied with the results Slovenia has achieved. He urged Slovenia to make up for the delay in structural reforms due to this year's primary attention given to the integration into NATO and the EU. During the visit to Slovenia, the IMF mission met with representatives of the central bank, relevant ministries and trade unions. It will generate a report in end-November including its decisions and recommendations.
