Govt agrees to promoting Urbanč to major general

Ljubljana, 7 May - The government approved Brigadier General Roman Urbanč's promotion to major general as it met for a correspondence session on Saturday. Urbanč, deputy chief of the general staff, has worked for the Slovenian Armed Forces (SAF) since 1994. He will now have to be formally promoted by the SAF's supreme commander, President Borut Pahor.
