Danilo Tuerk: Hard, Persistent Work Key to Success

"It is probably true that hard and persistent work is the key to success. We have worked hard on this candidacy for one year, in particular our mission in New York, which is one of Slovenia's smaller embassies but apparently a fairly good one with outstanding results," Danilo Tuerk, Slovenia's ambassador in New York and head of the permanent mission to the United Nations, said in a statement for RTV Slovenia in New York on Slovenia's election for a two-year non-permanent seat in the UN Security Council on Tuesday.
