Slovene Theatre Opens MES '97 Theatre Festival in Sarajevo

Ljubljana, 15 October - THEATRE/FESTIVAL/SARAJEVO
The Slovene Youth Theatre of Ljubljana is to open on Wednesday evening MES '97, the first postwar international theatre festival in Sarajavo, with "Silence Silence Silence" directed by Vito Taufer. To wind up on 24 October, the festival will feature over 30 performances by theatre groups from 16 countries. The Slovene City Theatre of Ljubljana will also participate in MES '97 with The Nuts form Helm directed by Zijah Sokolovic, a Bosnian actor and director living in Slovenia and Vienna, Austria.
