Premier Drnovšek Meets with Social Partners

Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek met Wednesday members of the Social and Economic Council to discuss cooperation between the government and social partners as well as the 1998 budget and development-austerity measures. They agreed that social partnership was important and necessary, but new legislation should be endorsed to give ESC a stronger say in all issues regarding social partnership.
