New government
"Fifteenth government does not want a 100-day grace period": Robert Golob has presented his team of 17 ministers, who have already started working after being confirmed in parliament. It is a mixture of newcomers and experienced politicians. (font page)
Culture
"Deepening of inequality in culture": More than half of workers in the cultural and creative sector cannot make ends meet with their work, shows the fourth part of a survey on the sector during the Covid-19 epidemic. (font page, 16)
Commemorative session for Boris Pahor
"Emotional farewell from Slovenian writer": A commemorative session was held in the National Hall in Trieste on Wednesday for Boris Pahor, the internationally-renowned Slovenian writer who wrote about his own experience of Fascism. Pahor died aged 108 at his home on Monday. (front page 4)

New government
"New government inaugurated, revisions in the works": The National Assembly has confirmed the new government of Robert Golob with the expected majority of 53 votes. It immediately held its first session to make a number of staffing moves. (font page, 2-3, commentary 12)
Digitalisation
"What people will be able to afford with digital voucher": As of 15 June, beneficiaries will be able to cash in EUR 150 digital vouchers, whose purpose is to encourage digital inclusion of young people and the elderly. (font page, 5)

Kindergartens
"Comparison of kindergarten prices": The paper looks where parents pay the most and where the least for kindergarten, and in which municipalities the price of kindergarten was recently raised, and where it will soon be raised. (front page, 2-5)

New government
"New government, turbulent times": The National Assembly last evening confirmed the 15th Slovenian government under Prime Minister Robert Golob, who established a coalition 38 days after the election with his Freedom Movement party and the Social Democrats and the Left (front page, 2-3).
Retail
"Pensioners going to work in a shop": The retailer Tuš has invited pensioners to work in its shops, and the response is above-average, low pensions presumably being of the reasons. (front page, 5)
Triple murder trial
"Triple murderer will be tried in Ptuj": The retrial of Silvo Drevenšek for the murder of his former spouse and her parents in front of his four-year-old son on Christmas Eve in 2020 in Gerečja Vas will start on Monday. It will, however, not be moved from Ptuj, as requested by the defendant. (front page, 5)
