Local elections
"Eternal mayors are tough nut even for Golob": The paper did a survey in twelve municipalities ahead of the November local elections to see if the Freedom Movement, the winner of the 24 April general election, can defeat the long-standing mayors of urban municipalities. (front page, 3)
Government measures
"Talks about measures to mitigate price hikes": Prime Minister Robert Golob has announced an advisory team that will compensate for the shortage of knowledge about macroeconomy in the government team. The opinion of experts is expected to be taken into account. (front page, 2)
UEFA Nations League
"Leaving Belgrade with four goals in Oblak's net": After losing to Sweden at home, the Slovenian men's football team was defeated by Serbia in Belgrade on Sunday 1:4 in the second round of the UEFA Nations League. Slovenia's only goal was scored by Petar Stojanović in the 30th minute. (front page, 15)

"Rather an empty gallery than fair payment": An emerging problem in the culture sector is the "culture of non-payment" for performed work, with victims frequently being self-employed culture workers who cooperate with large public institutions. (front page, 9, commentary 12)
Funds for Roma
"They 'borrowed' money from Roma": The Economy Ministry has finally explained what happened with the money originally earmarked for the Roma - it was temporarily redistributed for a project in Celje and for at least two companies. While Roma representatives are concerned, the ministry says the funds will be compensated for in time. (front page, 3)

"With SUPs on Ljubljanica with an environmental message": Standup paddleboarders from all around Slovenia took part in the environmental event called 100 SUPs on Ljubljanica yesterday. The event followed a cleaning campaign from Podpeč to Ljubljana. (front page, 6)

"We have 2.5 billion euros on foreign accounts": The largest number of foreign accounts held by Slovenians abroad are opened in Germany, while the most money is deposited on accounts in Austria, according to data available to the Financial Administration (front page, 2-3)

"Croatian and Belgrade stock exchanges among rare in the black this year": As the stock exchanges in Zagreb and Belgrade operate with a profit both in their domestic currencies and in euros, the paper looks at how the upcoming euro adoption by Croatia will affect the stock exchange in Zagreb. Smuggling in human beings
"Ukrainian smuggler wants to be pardoned": A 37-year-old Ukrainian citizen who was caught smuggling five illegal migrants three years ago has been called up to serve his sentence in Slovenia. He has asked to be pardoned as he is now helping refugees in Ukraine. (front page, 4)
