NEK Board of Directors Reaches no Agreement

The NEK temporary Board of Directors held a session late Tuesday evening in Zagreb discussing the revised report of 1996 operation and the plan for 1997 which includes also a very difficult and comprehensive project of the Krško Nuclear Power Plant (NEK) renewal and upgrading. In addition, the board discussed the prices of the electricity produced by NEK. No agreement was reached. It was decided that some comments should be harmonized by 4 November, when the Board of Directors is to meet again, the Ministry of Economic Affairs reported.
