New Road Sections Open for Traffic in Northern Slovenia

Slovene Minister of Transport and Communications Anton Bergauer opened Friday for traffic an 8.1 km long road section connecting Maribor with the Hoče-Vransko motorway: a section between Fram and Slivnica is 1.6 km long, while the highway section between Slivnica and Maribor (trade and distribution centre) is of 6.5 km. A four-lane road between the Šentilj border crossing and Vransko is almost fully open for traffic. Only the 1.4 km between Bohova and Maribor is open for traffic as a two-lane road.
