Slovenia's 2021 natural gas consumption at over 10,150 GWh highest in decade

Maribor, 11 July - The consumption of natural gas in Slovenia last year reached 10,163 GWh and was 6% higher than in 2020 and the highest since 2010, Energy Agency data shows. Household consumption, which accounts for about a third of total consumption, rose by 12%. The rise in wholesale prices started to affect the lowest retail prices towards the end of the year.
