Malaysia and Slovenia in Search of New Trade Partners

Ljubljana, 28 October - Malaysia's Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, who is paying a three-day visit to Slovenia, met on Tuesday with his host, Slovene Prime Minster Janez Drnovšek. The visit is vital for Malaysia as both nations are trying to find new trade partners, Prime Minister Mahathir told a news conference after the talks with Drnovšek. Slovene and Malaysian ministers of transport, Anton Bergauer and Ling Long Sik, respectively signed a bilateral air traffic agreement. The Malaysian delegation headed by Mahathir met also with Slovene Chamber of Economy Chairman Jožko Čuk, and is scheduled to travel to the coast to visit the Port of Koper in the afternoon.
