Adria Airways No Longer in the Red

Ljubljana, 28 October - ADRIA/AIRLINE/RESULTS
After a year of losses, Slovenia's airliner Adria Airways has made US$ 912,979 of profits in the first eight months of this year. It has also continued its rehabilitation programme, reducing long-term debt to US 41.2 million. Adria allocated US$ 6 million to repay debts in 1997, with the rest coming from state bonds.
