Public utilities
"Utilities not announcing price hikes": Municipal utilities in most Slovenian cities are making profit and are not considering raising prices in the near future, but concerns are raised over electricity and gas prices. (front page, page 3)

Kras fire
"New face of Kras landscape": Following a major wildlife in Kras, the region now faces efforts to bring back tourists to the charred-looking landscape. (front page, page 4)

Football
"Olimpija at the top, Maribor at the bottom": Another face-off between arch-rivals Olimpija and Maribor ended with the former's win that cemented their dominance in the country's main football league and put Maribor at the bottom of the rankings. (front page, pages 13, 14)

Kras fire
"There are many wheeler-dealers among contractors": The recent wildfire in the Kras region spread to some 3,000 hectares. Most of the burnt trees can be removed by machine, but forest owners will have to be careful about the many wheeler-dealers when picking contractors to do that. (front page, page 3)

"Police (still) collect too few fines for motorway offences": Drivers are getting better about heeding emergency lane rules on motorways, but the police have been imposing few fines for relevant violations, says an organisation dedicated to raising awareness about the rules. Wages
"How much lower your pay will be under Golob compared to the sum under Janša": A new tax reform proposed by the Robert Golob government could lower the minimum wage as well as other wages compared to the existing legislation. (front page, pages 2, 3)

Loans
"Where did loan rates spike the most": Average interest rates on home loans in the euro zone in June spiked the most in Greece. Slovenia's rate was below the euro average, at 1.94%, up 14% year-on-year. (front page, page 4)

"The right to disconnect": The Labour Inspectorate is raising awareness about the employees' right to disconnect from their work outside of working hours. If there is no clear divide between work and private life, then the worker faces a special kind of pressure, they warn. (front page, page 4)

Energy prices
