President says EU champion of democracy as victims of totalitarian regimes remembered

Ljubljana, 23 August - President Borut Pahor underlined the role of the EU as the champion of democracy, human rights and the rule of law as he addressed a memorial ceremony to mark the European Day of Remembrance for Victims of all Totalitarian and Authoritarian Regimes on Tuesday. A minute of silence was held at the National Assembly.
