Slovenia's annual inflation in August remains at 11%

Ljubljana, 31 August - Slovenia's annual inflation rate in August remained unchanged after it hit 11% in July, the highest annual inflation rate since August 1995, the latest data released by the Statistics Office shows. Inflation was mostly driven by more expensive fuel and energy, as well as food.

Diesel remains unchanged from midnight at petrol stations outside motorways in Slovenia, while regular petrol will be slightly more expensive.
