Slovene Pupils Mostly Abuse Alcohol and Tobacco

Results of the European survey on the abuse of alcohol and drugs among pupils of 15 and 16 years of age showed that the consumption of alcohol, tobacco and illegal substances among the Slovene youth is below the European average. The first international survey of its kind, the research comprised 26 European countries, coordinator of Slovene part of the survey, Eva Stergar of the Institute for Health Protection told Thursday's news conference.
