Flood damage estimated at nearly EUR 8m

Osilnica/Kostel, 21 September - The heavy rain that hit Slovenia at the weekend caused EUR 7.7 million in damage, according to initial estimates. Damage was recorded in 27 municipalities, the worst being in Osilnica and Kostel in the south-east, which accounted for as much as a half of total damage estimates, the Defence Ministry said on Wednesday.
