Parliament doubles child allowance

Ljubljana, 23 September - The National Assembly passed on Friday a bill doubling child allowance for three months, a measure designed to help families overcome the cost-of-living crisis. The bill, worth over EUR 60 million, was passed with 65 votes in favour and none against, with the two opposition parties expressing criticism that it did not go far enough.
