Interior Ministry on Complications with Driving Licences on Border with Austria

Ljubljana, 11 November - Since Slovenia is a signatory of the Vienna international convention on road transport there is no reasons why the Austrian border authorities should demand that Slovene drivers should produce an international driving licence when crossing the border with Austria, the Slovene Interior Ministry said on Tuesday, commenting upon the complications that occurred Tuesday at the Ljubelj border crossing.
